  • unprecedented range to resolution ratio
  • 12.5mm range with 0.8nm resolution
  • PGI Plus Aspherics Measuring System is specially configured for the optics industry
  • 0.1um straightness over 200mm traverse
  • systems include pnuematic anti-vibration mounts on heavy duty support table
  • extended length stylus arms increase measuring range to 25mm or 38mm

Form Talysurf PGI 1240 is the benchmark for the form measurement industry. Unprecendented 12.5mm gauge range with 0.8nm resolution provides simultaneous assessment of form, dimension and texture with a single traverse.

Key features include system noise reduced to less than 1nm (Rq); 0.1um straightness over 200mm traverse; and X axis horizontal data spacing to 0.125um. The PGI Aspherics system also includes an environmental cabinet to reduce the effects of airborne vibration.

Calibration over a ball and full arcuate correction provide optimum measurement accuracy. The Form Talysurf PGI 1240 is designed with the flexibility to accomodate the workshop or laboratory user with manual or programmed operation capability.
