As a purpose-built contact and non-contact scanning instrument, Talyscan 150 is a dedicated surface topography system, which is fast, flexible and easy to use.
The non-contact probe uses laser triangulation technology with a gauge range of 10mm. The contact probe is the market leading Form Talysurf inductive gauge with an extended 2.5mm range. Systems can be specified with contact, non-contact or both gauges - giving a product with great measuring flexibility.

Single or multiple measurements can be taken with a scanning range from a minimum of 50µm x 50µm to a maximum of 97mm x 97mm. A maxium scanning speed is 10mm/second delivering real benefits in measurement throughput.

The instrument is supplied with the market leading Talymap 3D analysis software. Talymap has been designed specifically for the metrology industry and includes many advanced functions; zoom, filtering, levelling by least square line removal, symmetries, rotations, threshold setting, by cylinder sphere or polynomial form removal and much more.
