Talyrond 385 is the flagship of the mid-range roundness geometry instruments offering high measurement capacity and fully automated axes. These include automation of the gauge attitude and orientation for fast, repetitive measurement. Talyrond 385 incorporates a bi-directional spindle with absolute positioning capabilities, providing highly accurate and repeatable positioning. Highly accurate vertical straightness and cylindricity measurements are made possible by the use of a ceramic arm; a material that provides the stiffness and rigidity that ensures the relationship between the arm and the spindle axis remains constant throughout the whole measurement cycle. Talyrond 385 has unrivalled arm and column positioning accuracy, combined with greater speed, to deliver an outstanding performance where greater repeatability, reproducibility and cycle times are critical. |
