Talymap software is a comprehensive 3D analysis software
which facilitates a wide range of data manipulation.
It provides all the functionality and quantitative data that you
would require from an areal measurement routine.
Functionality supported includes:
Levelling of data sets
Rotating and mirroring data sets
Zooming in on certain features
Filtering in 2D and 3D
Extracting 2D from 3D data sets
Thresholding
Auto / Inter correlation
Abbott Firestone curve
Step height measurement
Parameters supported
Taylor Hobson have been at the forefront of surface
characterisation since its inception.
We play a leading role in the ISO committee, which defines
surface parameters. Initially involved in the Surfstand project,
we have continued to maintain the integrity of our parameters
in 3D and they currently all adhere to the draft ISO standard.
The software supports up to 120 2D parameters and 40 3D parameters.
